iPhone 13 Pro Review: What’s New and What’s Changed?

The iPhone 13 Pro is the new model of iPhones that should be on everyone’s buying list. Aside from having bigger camera sensors than its predecessor, the phone also has a powerful A15 Bionic processor and an excellent display.

In terms of battery life, it can last for almost two days without needing to be charged again. When combined with great camera performance in both low light and bright conditions, this makes the iPhone 13 Pro one of the best phones you can buy right now!

So, let’s have an in-depth iPhone 13 Pro review and see how it fares when compared to other flagships in the same price band!

iPhone 13 Pro: A Comprehensive Review

Design

When it comes to design, the iPhone 13 Pro is definitely a step up from any other phone on the market. From its sleek and premium look, to its top-notch features and slim build, there’s no denying that this device is impressive. Both front and back are protected by Apple’s Ceramic Shield glass which sets it apart in quality from cheaper aluminum of other phones on the market.

All standard buttons are present including Ring/Silent switch and volume buttons located along left side; however power button has been relocated to right side so you can easily activate Siri or toggle screen ON–OFF with one hand without having to search for (or fumble!) your smartphone keys every time!

There are also bottom-firing speakers situated at either sides of lightning port – perfect if you want enhanced audio experience during multimedia streaming or gaming sessions. In terms of weight & dimensionality: The iPhone 13 Pro measures 7.65mm thin but weighs 203 grams making it slightly heavier than some contemporaries like OnePlus 10 Pro (~181g)!

IP Ratings

Apple has also improved on water resistance with an IP68 rating – meaning that it can be submerged up to 6 feet for 30 minutes – as well as dust and dirt resistance ratings of 8 each! Like all other iPhones models, however we still strongly advise our customers to use screen protectors due not only stop scratches but also fingerprints too!

And finally, like with previous iterations of the iPhone lineup including both 12 & 12S models; Face ID unlocks your device just like always now in addition to being highly accurate.

Display

The iPhone 13 Pro has one of the best screens on any smartphone, thanks to its 6.1-inch Super Retina OLED display. The screen has great color accuracy and a resolution of 2,532 x 1,170 pixels, which gives it a pixel density of 460. But what really sets the iPhone 13 Pro apart is its 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate. This is made possible by the use of a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) panel in the phone’s display.

LTPO panels are more power efficient than traditional LCDs and allow for variable refresh rates like ProMotion! The iPhone 13 Pro comes with a new, LTPO display that was first developed for the always-on screen of the Apple Watch to save battery life. In actual usage, you will not be able to tell that there is any difference between this type of screen and an older one.

When compared side by side with an iPad Air (5th generation) without a ProMotion screen, we found that they looked almost identical in terms of quality; however, when it came to performance – high refresh rate screens are common on Android smartphones – the iPhone 13 Pro’s display excelled!

Performance, Battery life and connectivity

Next, on this iPhone 13 Pro review, comes the performance! The iPhone 13 Pro is a powerhouse of a phone! Whether you’re using it for work, play or just trying to stay connected, the iPhone 13 Pro will handle everything with ease. One thing that sets the iPhone 13 Pro apart from other phones is its A15 Bionic processor. This powerful chip helps make sure performance is always top-notch no matter what you’re doing.

Even after eight months of use, performance has not diminished in any way – which means you can continue to rely on this phone as your go-to device without worry. In addition, 6GB RAM ensures that even heavy apps and games don’t cause lag or slowdown. And if needed, there’s also 128GB storage available for more than enough photos and videos (or whatever else catches your eye).

Plus, pay for extra iCloud storage up to 1TB so there’s never a shortage of space when it comes to keeping your files organized and backed up simultaneously across all devices linked to an account – perfect for making backups before traveling too!

Camera Performance

The camera system on the iPhone 13 Pro is an improvement over that of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini. The main new features are a dual-lens design, which helps to improve clarity and depth of field; as well as being able to use Super Slow Motion video recording at 240 fps. We have already tested this earlier, where it easily beats the OnePlus 10 Pro but can’t quite match up to the Google Pixel 6 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

However, when put up against older models like the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (which was released last year), it surprisingly comes out on top! The biggest surprise for us was how well it performed against our old iPhone 12 Pro – something we never thought would happen! You really do get more natural looking photos with this camera compared to previous iPhones – whether you’re shooting in daylight or nighttime conditions.

Photo editing is a common task when using mobile devices, and the iPhone 13 Pro is no exception. Apple’s software processing does an excellent job throughout; it’s clear that this device has been heavily tuned for photography excellence. Aside from the 3x telephoto zoom, one of the other big new features on this phone is macro photography which can give you very close focus on objects.

iPhone 13 Pro Review- Final Verdict!

So, what is the final verdict of the iPhone 13 Pro review? Well, if you’re in the market for an iPhone, and don’t need or want a Max-sized device, then the 13 Pro is definitely worth considering.

It’s essentially a smaller version of the bigger 13 Pro Max (which has been discontinued), but with all of its features intact – including that 120Hz screen which makes it incredibly smooth to use. Plus, like I said before: it’s much more manageable than the big brother!
